After a stay through Airbnb, it’s a great idea to write a review. This helps future guests know whether or not to stay where you stayed! A review can make the difference between locations that a guest is considering.
In order to leave an Airbnb review, first log into the Airbnb website. Then go into the Edit section of your account and choose Edit Profile. Then click on the Reviews tab, which will open up all the review options for your account. Click on the Reviews by You Tab, which will display all the past reviews you have written in addition to all the hosts or guests you have stayed with that need to be reviewed. Click on the user profile you want to review and write your review in the text field provided. Hit enter when you are done.
You will need to have checked out of the reservation first before you are able to write a review. To confirm that the review has posted, the account or accommodation name should move from Reviews to Write to Past Reviews You Have Written.
Keep in mind that you will also have to write a review within 14 days of checking out. Unfortunately, Airbnb is unable to make an exception for this 14 day time period. If you want to thank your host or give helpful feedback after that period, you can use the Airbnb message thread to do so. To view reservations that have passed the 14 day time period, go to Edit Profile, Reviews, Reviews by You, and then Expired Reviews.
Sign up as an Airbnb host, what are you waiting for?
