Airbnb Hosting: A How To

Have you heard of Airbnb? It’s a community of people sharing homes. For some, this means renting out your home when you are traveling to help fund your travel. For others, this means renting out a spare room/living room space/backyard tent space to strangers passing through your city on an occasional basis while you continue to live there in your portion of the home. Sometimes you’re the traveler, sometimes you might be the host. Airbnb is a great system that allows travelers to experience all the comforts of home when they are not home- a comfortable bed, a shower, and maybe even kitchen or kitchenette access to cook.

Have you ever wondered what it takes to become an Airbnb host? You could become a host if you own your own home and want to make it available to strangers in one of the situations listed above. OR- you could chat with me about doing Airbnb Investor Style as a business! I’ve been successfully renting out properties through Airbnb (both a condo that I own and several rental properties) and making $5,000 per month doing it! I have a system set up that can be transferred to any property that meets the qualities on my checklist- down to pricing, a cleaning system, how to make a profit and how to put special touches to make the rental stand out!

Airbnb is part of the sharing economy, which means that resources are shared among those who have them and those who want them and everyone wins! I love that I am able to be a part of the global sharing economy and help others to participate as well! Airbnb hosting can even be done on a shoestring budget!
